The
students of Sainiki Vidyalaya demonstrated fascinating performance at the Inter
Divisional sports competitions held at Nanded on 23rd August. Malkhamb is the indigenous sport of
gymnastics done on a wooden pole and a rope.
Eight participants of SSM won the first prize defeating their opponents
and got qualified for next level. The winner’s team included Vijay Kendre,
Shivkant Mendekar and their Coach Shri Waghamre.
On
the same occasion, boxing team also marked commendable success by winning series
bouts. Samej Aacharya, Jaykumar Jadhav and
Santosh Humbarde stood first under 14, 17 and 19 respectively. They got qualified for Divisional Level.
